North Marston CofE Primary School

Challenging each other to love learning and truly care. “Love never gives up “ 1 Cor. 13

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to North Marston C of E School.

We pride ourselves in encouraging an ethos where all children “love learning and truly care”.

Our school is a happy, caring and exciting place where everyone is considered important. We believe that the family is the most important part of a child’s life and we work in partnership with parents and carers for the benefit of our children. Everyone that is involved with the school is encouraged to challenge themselves and others, to enjoy and engage with learning and care about other people and the world around them.

A child is entitled to work in an atmosphere of friendship and trust, where all are considered equal and relationships between all people are considerate and caring. As such, all staff work hard to ensure we offer a broad and balanced curriculum firmly centred on our Christian values of “compassion, justice and courage”. Learning takes place in an environment that is stimulating, challenging and well organised, where security is provided by clearly defined expectations of work and behaviour.

Our approach includes a range of learning beyond the classroom such as Forest School, local walks and learning about our village, trips and residential visits. Together, all of these experiences provide opportunities for every child to achieve his or her potential.

We also provide a wide range of extra-curricular activities both at lunchtime and after school which allows us to enrich our curriculum further.

We have an active PTA who meet regularly and work hard to raise money that can provide the school with additional resources and experiences to enhance all pupils` learning.

All our staff and governors seek to maintain this philosophy and uphold all current safeguarding measures.
